What is social rooting?
Social roots are the regularization procedure through which a mobile number list foreigner who has lived continuously in Spain for 3 years can obtain residence in Spanish territory.
This residence will allow you to reside and work in the country for 1 year , with the possibility of extending or modifying to another type of residence later.
Usually this renewal is done for a work permit, so social roots are one of the best ways for all those foreigners in an irregular situation to stay in the country and work long-term.
It is also called residence authorization for exceptional circumstances, and is regulated by Organic Law 4/2000, of January 11 .
Together with family roots , work roots and roots for training, they make up the four types of temporary residence that any foreigner can obtain after having resided illegally in the country, without a residence permit or visa, for a period greater than 1 year.
